Not a day has passed that I don’t think about painting or this website. Many, many, many days have passed since I’ve actually done anything about it. Here are the best of the bunch, things I have done in the mean time.
I went through a phase of loving florals and attempting to reproduce the work of artist Erin Gregory.
Another reproduction of Erin Gregory, acrylic.
I picked up the oils and tried a loose reproduction of bluebonnets for a Texan friend of mine. The idea for this came from artist Kit Mahoney who painted a similar scene at a much smaller scale.
Moving to Norway and getting back in the swing of things, I picked up the watercolors and started painting houses. Here are two twin houses side by side, located side by side. One at sunrise, one at sunset, capturing the beautiful purple auras we get in the Autumn.

A quick watercolor bunny for my nephew.

And lastly, back to oils again, painting a house I pass on the road daily. I’m not completely happy with this one and might add some white to get more contrast between house and sky. Can’t decide. Letting it sit for a few weeks to think about it.
Good news! I am setting up a studio in my Norway home and hope to be up and running again soon.
Keep it up and glad that you are making space for your work.
